Meet our Cast
Ren moved to Lincoln City in 2004 with his wife and started Shipshape Landscape. In 2012 he was convinced to play a part in The Psychic and went on to participate in four other Theatre West plays, including the 2015 production of Social Security. He is currently employed with Trillium Natural Foods.
East / Man
This is Dave’s second go-round at Theatre West. His first was playing Henry Mitchell in Sex Please We’re Sixty. He and his wife, Cindy, were involved with productions for the Oakley Valley Arts Council in Idaho before retiring to the beautiful Oregon coast. He has had wide ranging roles from The Grinch in Seussical the Musical to Mr Gower in It’s a Wonderful Life, to Oscar Shapiro in Curtains. He hopes you enjoy the show.
Alice has quite an acting and coaching history, going back almost 60 years. She has done a wide variety of shows over the years, but her favorites are playing Helen Keller in high school, and Sylvia, at Theatre West. She was most recently on stage as Marlafaye in The Savannah Sipping Society and playing several roles in our summer show, Epic Proportions.
Sandrine / Rhonda
Christina is very excited to make her 3rd appearance on our Jack Coyne stage at Theatre West’s, Almost, Maine. This follows her part as Nina in The Cocktail Hour in fall of 2021 and as Louise in this summer’s Epic Proportions.
Christina is from San Diego, CA. She enjoys working at Salty Dog Hound Lounge and singing karaoke. She wants to thank her friends and boyfriend for always supporting her passion in acting.
Ginnette / Marci
Robin has been acting at Theatre West since 2001, when she had her first role ever as “police woman #1”, in the classic play Arsenic and Old Lace. Since then she has acted in many plays, run lights and sound, been props master, set decorator, stage manager, and assistant director. Her most recent role was as Tess in last season’s science fiction play Marjorie Prime.
Hazel Fiedler plays Marvelyn, a young woman struggling in her relationship. Hazel has been a part of school plays since she was five, when she played Charlotte in her kindergarten class’s rendition of Charlotte’s Web. Hazel has been on Theatre West’s stage once before, in the 2016 production of Seasonal Allergies, where she played a boisterous, karate-loving girl named Charlie.
Lendall / Phil
Bryan has been an actor, director, set builder, lighting “guy” and a member of the Board at Theatre West. His was most recently on stage in our summer show, Epic Proportions, where he played several roles (and died several times). This time he gets to perform with his wife, Robin, something he is enjoying. Bryan also holds the record for the longest run of a play at Theatre West; The Cocktail Hour opened on Mar 5, 2020 and finally closed on Dec 11, 2021 (that darned Covid shutdown!).
Julie Fiedler plays Gayle, coming back to Theatre West from a five-year hiatus after playing Julia in Seasonal Allergies and the pee-pee-pad-promoting Lydia in Things My Mother Taught Me.
Julie is a writer, artist and educator who directs St. James Santiago School in Lincoln City.
Glory/Waitress / Shelly
Since 2006, Bonnie has been participating in theatre in Lincoln City and Newport, primarily as actor and director but also as set designer and costumer. Her favorite roles on the coast include Vivian Bearing in Wit for Porthole Players, Polly Wyeth in Other Desert Cities for Red Octopus, and Marjorie in Marjorie Prime for Theatre West. Prior to retiring to the Oregon Coast, Bonnie appeared in and directed many productions in Carson City, NV, Portland, OR, and Colorado Springs, CO. She was recently on the Theatre West stage as Dot Haigler in Savannah Sipping Society and directed and acted in Epic Proportions. Bonnie is currently the Artistic Director for Theatre West.
A mid-westerner at heart who is settling into west coast life, Sean had his first foray into acting at Theater West in its winter production of Outside Mullingar.” It was such a great experience and I’m very much looking forward to the upcoming adventures within the town of Almost, Maine”.
Gavin has lived in Lincoln City for more than 7 years and is now pursuing a transfer degree at OCCC. This is his first show at Theatre West, but he has performed many times before in the high school theater group. The most prominent roles he had there were as The Cowardly Lion in the Wizard of Oz, and as the titular character in Shrek the Musical.
LA Montana native now living in a Lincoln City, Amanda has been doing community theatre since she was a wee one, graduating from Montana State University-Billings with a Communication Arts degree with an emphasis in Theatre. She started a theatre troupe with friends called Backyard Theatre performing in spaces around her hometown such as yoga studios, libraries, cafes, and backyards. She has acted in A Dolls House, Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, Hair, and Eurydice. She made her Theatre West stage debut as Rosemary Muldoon in Outside Mullingar
Matt has been married to the Director, Amanda, for 20 years. He started acting in their hometown of Billings, MT performing in shows like Guys and Dolls, The Norwegians, and Lysistrata.
When Amanda started Backyard Theatre out of their home he was lovingly thrust into producing, stage managing, directing, and of course….more acting.
Matt and Amanda moved to the Oregon Coast in 2020 and are excited to be a part of Theatre West.
