Jack Baird

Harry

Jack has worked in theater on and off for three decades now. He started out rigging lighting, building sets, and working on special effects, then operating lights, sound, and eventually into acting. He’s done a range of characters over the years, eventually coming to Theatre West to play a supporting role in Popcorn Falls. Panache will be his very first leading roll.

    I am a relatively new member to this stage having preformed in two shows, Almost Maine and The Dining Room. Before that I was an avid participant in the musicals preformed at Taft High School. I am working towards my transfer arts degree here at OCCC.




      Alice Luchau

      Assistant Director

      Alice has spent a lifetime in theater. Since moving to Lincoln City, she has performed in many shows, including Sylvia, Calendar Girls, Almost, Maine, Epic Proportions, and Savannah Sipping Society.

        Wow, my second appearance on the Theatre West stage! It is satisfying to be invited back. I
        love the “black box” theatre concept, outside the box thinking, a good drama, and working with dedicated, talented people. “I Can’t Get No Satisfaction” is NOT my theme song here.

        Starting with the first page of Panache, I was hooked. Here’s hoping you love Kathleen and the gang as much as I do. A very special thanks to Eric (for running lines with me, caring for our dog, re-adjusting his schedule, giving up golf games, etc.) to help make this possible for me. Much appreciated!



          Nora Hadaf Zander

          Nora’s love for theatre started in high school and continued throughout college in Sweden. In 2019, she moved to the US to travel and pursue acting and has done independent projects, commercials and background-work while exploring the terrains of North America. This year, she settled down in Waldport on the Oregon Coast with her husband and discovered Theatre West.

            Patrick Kiernan

            Jumbo

            Patrick has served in a behind-the-scenes capacities as Stage Manager for The Cocktail Hour, stagehand for Outside Mullingar, Production Asst on The Dining Room and as Assistant Director for Popcorn Falls. He has been onstage as Thomas Edison in the theater’s production of Camping With Henry and Tom and in the stage readings of Agatha Christie Plays, performing as 5 different characters. He now joins the cast of Panache in the role of Jumbo Dubrowski.

            Patrick spent 35 years working both in-and off production in the film and television industry in Los Angeles before retirement. He moved with his mini dachshund Saoirse to Lincoln City in 2020 and is happy to return to live theater.

              Bonnie Ross

              Director

              Prior to retiring to the Oregon Coast in 2006, Bonnie spent decades acting, directing, costuming, propping, and designing for theater productions in Carson City NV, Portland OR, and Colorado Springs CO. She has been directing and acting at Theatre West since then, when she was first seen as Doctor Eve in Sordid Lives. She has acted in 9 plays and directed 10 for Theatre West, as well as directing and acting in several productions for Porthole Players and Red Octopus Theatre in Newport. She is currently the Artistic Director for Theatre West.

                John MacDonald

                Walter Pace

                John is a new face in the theater, but has lived in the community for close to ten years. His only experience in theater is a semester of stagecraft in high school, and . . . he was not very good. It may have had something to do with effort applied ( or lack thereof), though things have turned around. When he isn’t working, he spends his time writing, spending time with family, playing Dungeons and Dragons, or hanging out with Paxton (more accurately Lord Paxton Lazybones of Otis).  

                Recently, his friend Jon Gaston passed away. He, too, was a performer, providing various voices, accents, and other character details to all the baddies in their years long Dungeons and Dragons campaign. For what it’s worth, whether good or bad, his debut performance is dedicated to Mr. Gaston.

                  Jan Coloccia

                  This is Jan’s first full-length production for Theatre West. A recent Oregon transplant, Jan comes from a busy background in community theatre: running a repertory company, a dinner theatre, and writing, teaching, directing, acting, and serving as vice president for a non-profit children’s theatre company, among other projects.

                  Jan was seen here last summer in the Agatha Christie reader’s theatre show. She is grateful to be welcomed into the Theatre West family!

                    Julie Starr

                    Donna Pace

                    Julie Starr (Hash) is a resident of the Lincoln City area since 1993. With no prior experience on stage, she makes her acting debut while her husband of four years, James Hash, takes on his first role at Theatre West as stage manager in this production. At home in Otis, the couple — along with their two dogs and other animals — is dedicated to providing a safe and loving home for senior rescue horses in their final years.

                    Julie is excited to bring her diverse background as an author, therapeutic hypnotist, and former casino card dealer to her acting performance. She also hopes to offer her artistic painting skills behind the scenes in future productions.


                      Wes Ryan

                      Director

                      The Director of this show is Wes Ryan who has been in\volved with Theatre West since 1987. He has directed a number of shows acted, been an Asst Director, done lights and sound, helped build sets, ushered and been on the Board of Directors.  Recently he directed two Readers Theaters and been involved with all the productions of It’s A Wonderful Life!. He is excited to bring A Night in the Theatre to the Jack Coyne stage.

                        Dave Jones

                        Stanley Locker

                        This is Dave’s fifth go-round at Theatre West. His most recent one was playing nine characters in The Dining Room.   He also appeared in Almost Maine in 2022. He also helped run the lights and sound for Panache in his maiden voyage at that post. He and his wife, Cindy were involved with productions for the Oakley Valley Arts Council in Idaho before retiring to the beautiful Oregon Coast in 2019. He is a semi-retired CPA who’s tax preparation income supports his ocean fishing addiction.  He hopes you enjoy the show. Fish on!






                          Alice Luchau

                          Alice Luchau has been active in live theater since 1963. While she is often seen onstage acting, she’s quite active backstage, from doing makeup and constructing costumes,  building, painting and decorating sets, running lights and sound, stage managing and as assistant director, for this theater and elsewhere.  Although she has written and directed award winning readers theaters, Alice will debut her directorial skills in this summer’s show, Harold and Maude

                                Bonnie Ross

                                Bonnie has been directing and acting at Theatre West since 2006, when she was first seen as Doctor Eve in Sordid Lives. Since then she has acted in 9 plays and directed 11 for Theatre West, as well as directing and acting in several productions for Porthole Players and Red Octopus Theatre in Newport. She is currently the Artistic Director for Theatre West and will be directing Angel Street (Gaslight), the opening play of our next season.

                                  Gavin Suckow

                                  This is Gavin’s fourth appearance on the Jack Coyne stage at Theatre West, and his first in a starring role. Previous productions include Almost Maine, The Dining Room and Panache. Gavin’s artistic background includes several plays and musicals in and out of high school and he is currently a student at OCCC.








                                    Jan Coloccia

                                    Jan has many years of experience in community theatre  writing, directing, acting, and producing.  She has run a repertory acting troupe, and served as vice president  of a non-profit children’s theatre company, as well as teaching and directing theatre for young people, among other projects.

                                    This is Jan’s second full-length production for Theatre West; she was previously seen in this season’s A Night in theTheatre.”

                                      Lewis Smith

                                      Priest

                                      Lewis was last seen on the Theatre West stage in Epic Proportions and as Felix in The Odd Couple. His other local endeavors include directing and performing in A Tour to Die For and the live radio presentation of It’s a Wonderful Life. His performance experience includes Shakespeare, musicals, ballets, short films & commercials. 

                                      Lewis was a member of Batucaje, an Afro-Brazilian dance and music ensemble based in San Francisco, and performed with a Berkeley-based improv and mime troupe. He also teaches Improv, Tahitian Drumming, and self-defense at OCCC.

                                        Bonnie Ross

                                        Maude

                                        Like Maude, Bonnie has turned 80 herself and has plans for another 20 years. She credits her longevity to good genes, good jeans, good wine, good dogs, and good company (you know who you are). She will keep doing theater as long as she can climb ladders and memorize “those frikken lines.” Bonnie will be hosting a directors’ forum at the theater on September 26th, and she is directing the first play of Theatre West’s 50th year of retrospective plays, Angel Street (Gaslight) in October.



                                          Cindy Jones

                                          Cindy spent 32 years teaching for Cassia County School District in Idaho before retiring. She and her wonderful husband/ love of her life Dave happily retired to Newport in May of 2019. Prior to moving to Newport she had roles in 2 plays for Oakley Valley Arts Council: The Man Who Came to Dinner and The Christmas Schooner. She enjoyed performing on the Theatre West Stage as Victoria in Sex Please We’re Sixty.


                                          Cindy spends her days loving the retired life and cooking up the fish her sea addicted hubby catches.

                                            T Sean Prescott

                                            Gardener

                                            Sean is an accountant living in Lincoln City with his wife, and two cats who tolerate his existence. He enjoys playing computer games, listening to music, reading, and watching movies. He also has a love for all things theater related. Singing, acting and directing are Sean’s passion. This is Sean’s fifth play at Theatre West.

                                              I made my debut as Edna in A Delicate Balance in CO in 2003 and performed on several stages before moving to this coast a few years ago. I thought my theatre days were behind me. Enter Theatre West.

                                              I thoroughly enjoyed my (multiple!) roles in The Dining Room and as Kathleen in Panache. I am drawn to unconventional and touching stories and roles, and TW has provided the perfect vehicle for me. Once again, I am a part of a remarkable group of cast/crew/leaders and sponsors, bringing you a quirky drama that is guaranteed to keep you paying attention and get you talking after the show. Enjoy!

                                                Jason Kutchma

                                                Jason is making his acting debut at Theatre West with Harold and Maude, but this is not his first time on a stage.  He’s performed hundreds of shows from coast to coast as a self-taught musician both with the band Red Collar and as a solo artist.  He can currently be seen performing at Snug Harbor Bar and Grill in Lincoln City.  Jason and his wife moved to Lincoln City from Idaho in 2022.




                                                  Scott Christianson

                                                  Scott got his acting career started when he moved to Lincoln City 9 years ago. He tried out for The Odd Couple and was awarded his first role as one of the poker playing friends of Felix and Oscar. He soon began helping with the Tour To Die For – a graveyard tour with just a hint of ghosts. He has also played one of his favorite roles as the actor, playing George Baily in the annual radio production of It’s a Wonderful Life. He had been spending a bit less time in the theater as his 2 year old granddaughter has kept him pretty busy, along with his very fulfilling career as a supervising nurse at our local hospital, Samaritan North Lincoln Hospital. The acting bug bit him again however, when he was asked to fill in for one of the parts for the last weekend of Popcorn Falls. Rediscovering the joy of acting, he has joined us again as what he describes as “the loveable character”, Dopple, in Harold and Maude.

                                                  Scott is excited to be involved in such a relevant story and he looks forward to being a part of entertaining you in this production.

                                                    Anna Gabler

                                                    Anna has lived in Lincoln City all her life. She started in theater at a very young
                                                    age with Missoula performances at The Cultural Center. In middle school she began
                                                    choir and joined the drama department where she found her love of musical theater.
                                                    She has been in The cast of Wizard Of Oz, Willie Wonka, Shrek and A Night On
                                                    Broadway.

                                                    This is Anna’s first Theater West performance.

                                                      Lenora Robinson

                                                      This is Lenora’s first appearance on the Jack Coyne stage at Theatre West.  Her previous experiences with acting were during her high school career. Born in Washington, but raised right here in Oregon, Lenora lives in Lincoln City with her 2 cats and 1 dog. Welcome back to theater!

                                                        Devonee is delighted to make her first appearance onstage with Theater West. She has been in love with the theater since Jr. High School. Devonee studied acting at The University of Washington, which led to some of her favorite roles in community theater here on the Oregon Coast–including The Snow Queen in Red Octopus Theatre Company’s performance of The Snow Queen, and Adelaide in Porthole Players’ production of Guys and Dolls.

He and Cindy were involved with productions for the Oakley Valley Arts Council in Idaho for 20 years before retiring to the beautiful Oregon Coast in He is a semi-retired CPA who’s tax preparation income supports his ocean fishing addiction.
