Tools for Tough Times

Are you struggling with the uncertainty of the times? Do the holidays bring a sense of dread and not cheer? Fear, uncertainty and loss create stress often leading to depression and poor life choices. The arts offer a direct way to address intense stress at a level and to the extent that the individual wants. Taking control of one’s personal story is essential to well-being, and doing so as an artist, through a creative endeavor, is a powerful step.

Give yourself or someone you love the gift of Tools for Tough Times – an interactive, creative arts ‘doing’ program, where the individuals are the primary artists. Facilitated by Kate Hawkes, the program provides a place for participants to be together, not to problem solve but to create. You’ll uncover your powerful self through the arts and be equipped with tools and skills to help with ongoing self-care.

Originally from Australia, Kate is a freelance theatre professional of 45+ years, a produced playwright and a published author. She also writes screenplays.
